Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Art Contemporain Vente du jour bei Christies in Paris erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Iaroslav Serpan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Série Amazonica, N˚27 im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 230.500,00 (€ 171.337,25).
