The work Wave at Sunset by Ian Fleming was auctioned at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October 2020. It achieved a price of GBP 1,147.50 (€ 1,274.20), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 64%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ian Fleming - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, Yellow Theme, which sold at auction in August 2008 for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,340.10).

Die Arbeit Wave at Sunset von Ian Fleming kam im Oktober 2020 bei Bonhams in Edinburgh zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.147,50 (€ 1.274,20) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ian Fleming mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape, Yellow Theme beobachtet, die im August 2008 für GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.340,10) versteigert wurde.
