This work without title by Hussein Shariffe was auctioned at Bonhams in January this year. It achieved a price of GBP 1,912.50 (€ 2,170.72), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hussein Shariffe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Songlines: For Bruce Chatwin in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 40,597.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Hussein Shariffe kam im Januar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.912,50 (€ 2.170,72) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hussein Shariffe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Songlines: For Bruce Chatwin im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 40.597,49).
