Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Huguette Caland was sold in the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction at Sothebys in London in October 2020. The price achieved of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 5,596.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huguette Caland achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bribes de Corps (Body Parts) in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 250,000.00 (€ 289,982.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Huguette Caland wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 5.596,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huguette Caland erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bribes de Corps (Body Parts) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 250.000,00 (€ 289.982,07).
