Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Huguette Caland achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Dubai in March 2019. In the Middle Eastern Modern & Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,699.32) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huguette Caland achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bribes de Corps (Body Parts) in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 250,000.00 (€ 289,982.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Huguette Caland erzielte im März 2019 bei Christies in Dubai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Middle Eastern Modern & Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.699,32) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huguette Caland erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bribes de Corps (Body Parts) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 250.000,00 (€ 289.982,07).
