Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 70,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 77,500.00 (€ 68,042.14). Admittedly, works by Huguette Caland have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bribes de Corps (Body Parts) in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 250,000.00 (€ 289,982.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (From The Bribes De Corps Series) von Huguette Caland wurde im März 2016 in der Auktion Dubai: Modern and Contemporary Art Now and Ten bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 70.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 77.500,00 (€ 68.042,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Huguette Caland auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bribes de Corps (Body Parts) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 250.000,00 (€ 289.982,07).
