Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition, 1959 by Huguette Arthur Bertrand was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in February 2008. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,487.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huguette Arthur Bertrand achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lidelo n°28 - 1956 in December this year with an auction result of EUR 19,024.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition, 1959 von Huguette Arthur Bertrand wurde im Februar 2008 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.487,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huguette Arthur Bertrand erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lidelo n°28 - 1956 im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.024,00.
