This artwork by Huguette Arthur Bertrand achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in October 2015. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Epeïre sold for EUR 11,700.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Huguette Arthur Bertrand; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Lidelo n°28 - 1956 sold at auction in December this year with the realized price of EUR 19,024.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 95 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Huguette Arthur Bertrand erzielte im Oktober 2015 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Epeïre für EUR 11.700,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Huguette Arthur Bertrand; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Lidelo n°28 - 1956 im Dezember diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 19.024,00.
