This artwork by Hugo Vilfred Pedersen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bruun Rasmussen in May this year. In the Paintings, furniture and varia (postponed) auction, the work A buddhist monk sold for DKK 14,000.00 (€ 1,879.11) - well above the upper estimate of DKK 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hugo Vilfred Pedersen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work At the Baths in April 2003 with an auction result of USD 47,800.00 (€ 38,925.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hugo Vilfred Pedersen erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia (postponed) wurde die Arbeit A buddhist monk für DKK 14.000,00 (€ 1.879,11) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von DKK 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hugo Vilfred Pedersen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit At the Baths im April 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.800,00 (€ 38.925,08).
