Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Still life with a silver box and a glass vase of pink roses by Hugo Vilfred Pedersen was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 3,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 2,500.00 (€ 335.62). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hugo Vilfred Pedersen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work At the Baths in April 2003 with an auction result of USD 47,800.00 (€ 38,925.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Still life with a silver box and a glass vase of pink roses von Hugo Vilfred Pedersen im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 3.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 2.500,00 (€ 335,62) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hugo Vilfred Pedersen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit At the Baths im April 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.800,00 (€ 38.925,08).
