In April 2003 Christies in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art including Barbizon, Realist and, which included the work At the Baths by Hugo Vilfred Pedersen. The »bidding war« ended at USD 47,800.00 (€ 38,925.08), 20% above the upper estimate. With this result, At the Baths is even the most expensive work of art by Hugo Vilfred Pedersen that we have observed at auctions so far.
