Auction result well in line with expectations
The work German the Last Of The Day by Hugo Ungewitter was sold in the Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art auction at Sothebys in New York in February 2018. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,189.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hugo Ungewitter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work German a Tiger Prowling In The Snow in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 42,274.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit German the Last Of The Day von Hugo Ungewitter wurde im Februar 2018 in der Auktion Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.189,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hugo Ungewitter auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit German a Tiger Prowling In The Snow im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 42.274,83).
