Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Hugo Sartore was sold in the The House Sale auction at Christies in New York in July 2006. The price achieved of USD 960.00 (€ 752.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Hugo Sartore have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composición in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,213.37).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Hugo Sartore wurde im Juli 2006 in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 960,00 (€ 752,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hugo Sartore auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composición im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.213,37).
