Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vibration Perpetuelle by Hugo Demarco was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2008. The price achieved of USD 40,625.00 (€ 32,003.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. Other works by Hugo Demarco have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2008 the work Relief À Deplacement Continuelle was auctioned for USD 67,000.00 (€ 43,059.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vibration Perpetuelle von Hugo Demarco wurde im November 2008 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 40.625,00 (€ 32.003,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 35.000,00 – 45.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Hugo Demarco konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2008 die Arbeit Relief À Deplacement Continuelle für USD 67.000,00 (€ 43.059,13) versteigert.
