A top price for Hugo Darnaut - as previously expected
The work Austrian winterlandschaft (A Winter'S Day) by Hugo Darnaut was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in November 2013. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,042.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Austrian winterlandschaft (A Winter'S Day) is the most expensive artwork by Hugo Darnaut that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Austrian winterlandschaft (A Winter'S Day) von Hugo Darnaut wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.042,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Austrian winterlandschaft (A Winter'S Day) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Hugo Darnaut, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
