It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,540.33) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Le Francais et L'Anglais is the most expensive artwork by Hubert de Watrigant that we have observed at auctions so far.
