A top price for Huang Xing
When the work Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu by Huang Xing was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - HKD 120,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at HKD 475,000.00 (€ 43,866.06). This high result makes Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu the most expensive artwork by Huang Xing that we have observed at auctions so far.

Als die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu von Huang Xing im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches.
