Fine Chinese Paintings Formerly in the Collection of Mingzhai 南洋明齋舊藏古代及近現代中國書畫 Lots 101-118 楊作明（1925-1984），廣東潮州澄海人，後移居馬來西亞從商。雖是僑胞身份，卻對中國書畫十分著迷，自行鑽研書畫收藏。約六十年代末期，經由楊之光先生推薦而個別造訪北京榮寶齋、天津藝苑及上海畫苑等地，收購許多該地區著名書畫家之作。因南洋地區專業裝裱行當較不風行，楊先生還曾特地在香港逗留多時，就教於裝池能手，返家後自行裱畫，其專注與投入，絕非一般收藏家可與比肩。 今年春拍，邦瀚斯首次推出「南洋明齋舊藏古代及近現代中國書畫」專題，反響熱烈。本次網拍，將再有部分書畫釋出，包括羅銘、任博悟、曾后希等名家，大部分作品具「作明」上款，為市場所罕見。

Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Swimming Ducks under Willow Tree, 1759 by Huang Shen was sold in the Chinese Paintings-The Online sale auction at Bonhams in September this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 76,800.00 (€ 9,266.21) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Shen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peach Blossom Land in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 6,000,000.00 (€ 632,869.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Swimming Ducks under Willow Tree, 1759 von Huang Shen wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Chinese Paintings-The Online sale bei Bonhams versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 76.800,00 (€ 9.266,21) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Shen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peach Blossom Land im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.000.000,00 (€ 632.869,99).
