Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Cursive Script Calligraphy by Huang Shen. The price achieved of HKD 88,200.00 (€ 10,569.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Shen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peach Blossom Land in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 6,000,000.00 (€ 632,869.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cursive Script Calligraphy von Huang Shen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 88.200,00 (€ 10.569,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Shen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peach Blossom Land im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.000.000,00 (€ 632.869,99).
