This artwork by Huang Shen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in December this year. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Bamboo Shoots sold for HKD 69,300.00 (€ 8,018.80) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 38,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Shen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peach Blossom Land in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 6,000,000.00 (€ 632,869.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 82 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Huang Shen erzielte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Bamboo Shoots für HKD 69.300,00 (€ 8.018,80) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 38.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Shen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peach Blossom Land im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.000.000,00 (€ 632.869,99).
