Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape, Birds and Flowers by Huang Shen was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2020. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,547.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Shen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peach Blossom Land in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 6,000,000.00 (€ 632,869.99).

Die Arbeit Landscape, Birds and Flowers von Huang Shen wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 10.547,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Shen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peach Blossom Land im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.000.000,00 (€ 632.869,99).
