Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Figures by Huang Shen was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. The auction ended at the price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 15,827.40), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 120,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Shen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peach Blossom Land in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 6,000,000.00 (€ 632,869.99).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Figures von Huang Shen kam im April 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 15.827,40) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Shen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peach Blossom Land im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.000.000,00 (€ 632.869,99).
