Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Guanyin with a Child by Huang Shaoqiang was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2007. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,278.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Shaoqiang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Immortality And Oblivion in April 2012 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 38,974.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Guanyin with a Child von Huang Shaoqiang wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.278,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Shaoqiang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Immortality And Oblivion im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 38.974,98).
