Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Artist Self-Portrait by Huang Ming Zhe was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in April 2002. It changed hands for a price of HKD 83,650.00 (€ 11,912.83) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 65,000.00 – 85,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Huang Ming Zhe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Women in downtown Taipei, which sold at auction in October 2001 for TWD 1,175,000.00 (€ 37,759.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Artist Self-Portrait von Huang Ming Zhe kam im April 2002 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 83.650,00 (€ 11.912,83) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 65.000,00 – 85.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Huang Ming Zhe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Women in downtown Taipei beobachtet, die im Oktober 2001 für TWD 1.175.000,00 (€ 37.759,92) versteigert wurde.
