Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December last year Bonhams held the auction Asian Art, which included the work Triptych of Calligraphy in Grass Style by Huang Miaozi. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 9,840.00 (€ 6,259.23), 23% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Huang Miaozi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy In Regular Script, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 24,000.00 (€ 24,508.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Triptych of Calligraphy in Grass Style von Huang Miaozi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 9.840,00 (€ 6.259,23) und damit 23% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Huang Miaozi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 24.000,00 (€ 24.508,70) versteigert wurde.
