Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Poem In Cursive Script by Huang Miaozi was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in October this year. It achieved a price of HKD 6,000.00 (€ 725.59), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Miaozi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Regular Script in April this year with an auction result of HKD 24,000.00 (€ 24,508.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Poem In Cursive Script von Huang Miaozi wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 6.000,00 (€ 725,59) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Miaozi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 24.000,00 (€ 24.508,70).
