Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Reading Notes by Huang Miaozi was auctioned at POLY in October 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 10,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 11,800.00 (€ 1,328.70) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Miaozi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Regular Script in April this year with an auction result of HKD 24,000.00 (€ 24,508.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Reading Notes von Huang Miaozi kam im Oktober 2018 bei POLY zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 11.800,00 (€ 1.328,70) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Miaozi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 24.000,00 (€ 24.508,70).
