The work Two-Character Calligraphy by Huang Junshi was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Christies in New York in September 2016. It achieved a price of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,224.60), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Huang Junshi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Couplet sold at auction in May 2015 with the realized price of HKD 22,420.00 (€ 2,630.69).

Die Arbeit Two-Character Calligraphy von Huang Junshi wurde im September 2016 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.224,60) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Huang Junshi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Couplet im Mai 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 22.420,00 (€ 2.630,69).
