Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy by Huang Junshi was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2016. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,447.05) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,500.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Huang Junshi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2015 the work Couplet was auctioned for HKD 22,420.00 (€ 2,630.69).
