The work Calligraphy in Running Script by Huang Junshi was sold in the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online including the Collection of Sun Ah Book Center auction at Christies in December 2021. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 13,750.00 (€ 1,557.47), 72% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Huang Junshi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Couplet sold at auction in May 2015 with the realized price of HKD 22,420.00 (€ 2,630.69).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Huang Junshi wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online including the Collection of Sun Ah Book Center bei Christies versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 13.750,00 (€ 1.557,47) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Huang Junshi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Couplet im Mai 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 22.420,00 (€ 2.630,69).
