The auction ended at the price of HKD 20,000.00 (€ 2,131.81), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Jie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poem In Kaishu in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,905.00).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script - Poem Of Huang Tingjian von Huang Jie kam im Februar 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 20.000,00 (€ 2.131,81) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Jie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poem In Kaishu im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.905,00).
