Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu by Huang Jie was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. The price achieved of HKD 43,750.00 (€ 4,815.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 35,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Huang Jie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poem In Kaishu in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,905.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu von Huang Jie wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 43.750,00 (€ 4.815,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 35.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Huang Jie auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Poem In Kaishu im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.905,00).
