Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mother and son by Huang Dashen was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. The price achieved of HKD 120,000.00 (€ 12,053.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Huang Dashen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of a Lady, which sold at auction in October 2004 for HKD 358,500.00 (€ 36,114.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mother and son von Huang Dashen kam im Mai 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 120.000,00 (€ 12.053,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Huang Dashen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of a Lady beobachtet, die im Oktober 2004 für HKD 358.500,00 (€ 36.114,39) versteigert wurde.
