In May 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Calligraphic Couplet in Clerical Script by Huang Baowu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,097.04), 25% above the upper estimate. Other works by Huang Baowu have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 6,772.06) in November 2018 for the work Calligraphic Couplet in Clerical Script.

Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplet in Clerical Script von Huang Baowu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.097,04) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Huang Baowu haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 6.772,06) im November 2018 für die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplet in Clerical Script beobachtet.
