In October last year China Guardian held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Victoria Peak by Huang Banruo. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 21,600.00 (€ 2,767.95), 44% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Banruo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kapok Flower in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 28,647.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 44 % übertroffen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Victoria Peak von Huang Banruo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 21.600,00 (€ 2.767,95) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Banruo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kapok Flower im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 28.647,69).
