Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2008 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Tai Mo Shan by Huang Banruo. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 35,000.00 (€ 2,884.44) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Huang Banruo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kapok Flower in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 28,647.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tai Mo Shan von Huang Banruo zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 35.000,00 (€ 2.884,44) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Huang Banruo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kapok Flower im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 28.647,69).
