Auction result misses estimated price range
In February this year a collector was able to acquire the work Calligraphy by Hua Ge for HKD 1,200.00 (€ 144.20). This price was achieved in the auction Celebrating the year of the rabbit at POLY and was even below the estimate range of HKD 5,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hua Ge - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy, which sold at auction in November last year for HKD 4,200.00 (€ 521.19).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Calligraphy von Hua Ge für HKD 1.200,00 (€ 144,20) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Celebrating the year of the rabbit bei POLY erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 5.000,00 – 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hua Ge mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy beobachtet, die im November letzten Jahres für HKD 4.200,00 (€ 521,19) versteigert wurde.
