Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Hua Ge could be acquired at POLY in November last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors auction, the work Calligraphy changed hands for HKD 1,800.00 (€ 223.37) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 5,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hua Ge - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy, which sold at auction in November last year for HKD 4,200.00 (€ 521.19).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hua Ge konnte im November letzten Jahres bei POLY für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors wechselte die Arbeit Calligraphy für HKD 1.800,00 (€ 223,37) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 5.000,00 – 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hua Ge mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy beobachtet, die im November letzten Jahres für HKD 4.200,00 (€ 521,19) versteigert wurde.
