The work Two Erotic Paintings by Hu Yefo was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in June 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 76,500.00 (€ 8,309.88), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hu Yefo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wu Gorge in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 4,580,000.00 (€ 455,949.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Two Erotic Paintings von Hu Yefo wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 76.500,00 (€ 8.309,88) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hu Yefo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wu Gorge im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.580.000,00 (€ 455.949,99).
