Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lady Boating Under Willow Tree by Hu Yefo was sold in the Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in August 2021. The price achieved of HKD 44,625.00 (€ 4,859.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hu Yefo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wu Gorge in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 4,580,000.00 (€ 455,949.99).

Die Arbeit Lady Boating Under Willow Tree von Hu Yefo wurde im August 2021 in der Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 44.625,00 (€ 4.859,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hu Yefo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wu Gorge im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.580.000,00 (€ 455.949,99).
