This artwork by Hu Yefo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Snowy Landscape sold for HKD 350,000.00 (€ 39,840.19) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hu Yefo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wu Gorge in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 4,580,000.00 (€ 455,949.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 94 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hu Yefo erzielte im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Snowy Landscape für HKD 350.000,00 (€ 39.840,19) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hu Yefo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wu Gorge im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.580.000,00 (€ 455.949,99).
