Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Hu Yefo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Scenery Of New China sold for HKD 600,000.00 (€ 68,579.11) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hu Yefo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wu Gorge in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 4,580,000.00 (€ 455,949.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hu Yefo erzielte im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Scenery Of New China für HKD 600.000,00 (€ 68.579,11) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 250.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hu Yefo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wu Gorge im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.580.000,00 (€ 455.949,99).
