The work Perching On The Branch by Hu Yefo was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. The auction ended at the price of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,767.93), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hu Yefo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wu Gorge in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 4,580,000.00 (€ 455,949.99).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Perching On The Branch von Hu Yefo kam im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.767,93) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hu Yefo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wu Gorge im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.580.000,00 (€ 455.949,99).
