Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Hu Yefo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March 2019. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction, the work Misty Mount Huangshan sold for USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,132.88) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hu Yefo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wu Gorge in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 4,580,000.00 (€ 455,949.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hu Yefo erzielte im März 2019 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Misty Mount Huangshan für USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.132,88) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hu Yefo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wu Gorge im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.580.000,00 (€ 455.949,99).
