This artwork by Hu Yefo achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. In the Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia auction, the work Beauty sold for HKD 118,000.00 (€ 13,389.03) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hu Yefo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wu Gorge in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 4,580,000.00 (€ 455,949.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hu Yefo erzielte im März 2019 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia wurde die Arbeit Beauty für HKD 118.000,00 (€ 13.389,03) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hu Yefo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wu Gorge im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.580.000,00 (€ 455.949,99).
