The work Running Script by Hu Shi was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 129,800.00 (€ 14,821.41), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 62%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hu Shi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poem In Running Script in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 203,000.00 (€ 160,753.88).

Die Arbeit Running Script von Hu Shi wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 129.800,00 (€ 14.821,41) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 62%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hu Shi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poem In Running Script im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 203.000,00 (€ 160.753,88).
