Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy in Regular Style by Hu Shi was auctioned at Bonhams in December last year. The price achieved of AUD 6,150.00 (€ 3,912.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hu Shi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poem In Running Script in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 203,000.00 (€ 160,753.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Regular Style von Hu Shi kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 6.150,00 (€ 3.912,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hu Shi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poem In Running Script im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 203.000,00 (€ 160.753,88).
