This artwork by Hu Ruosi achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2017. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 224,200.00 (€ 24,675.86) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hu Ruosi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mount Hua Scenery in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 1,700,000.00 (€ 156,994.34).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hu Ruosi erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I wurde die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 224.200,00 (€ 24.675,86) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hu Ruosi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mount Hua Scenery im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.700.000,00 (€ 156.994,34).
