Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Abstract Landscape by Hu Nianzu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,194.09) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hu Nianzu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Sea Of Clouds, which sold at auction in October 2001 for HKD 141,000.00 (€ 20,100.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Abstract Landscape von Hu Nianzu kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.194,09) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hu Nianzu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Sea Of Clouds beobachtet, die im Oktober 2001 für HKD 141.000,00 (€ 20.100,30) versteigert wurde.
