Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy In Regular Script by Hu Lancheng was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2016. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 53,100.00 (€ 6,137.38). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hu Lancheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy Couplet In Lishu, which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 19,303.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script von Hu Lancheng kam im Mai 2016 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 53.100,00 (€ 6.137,38) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Hu Lancheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Lishu beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 19.303,67) versteigert wurde.
